Inner-Tubing With God: Understanding Gods Ways
It is so obvious that God works and thinks on a
totally different level than we do. I have spent
most of my life in my left logical side of my
brain trying to figure out God, people, events and
reason. Only to be left frustrated, irritated and
emotionally dehydrated.What makes it most
interesting is, we look back and the flow of our
lives makes perfect sense and in God's perfect
timing. The question is, "Is it possible to live
in a state of mind where we just go with God's
flow, without trying to grab hold and figure life
out our way? The bible says it is. "The ways of
God are without fault. The Lord's words are pure.
He is a shield to those who trust him." Psalm
18:30.I love inner tubing down a river. You have no
control of what direction you face, the current
sets your pace and you are directed by nature's
obstacles through the water. While you have
absolutely no say in your destiny down the river
there is such a comfort sitting on that tube
floating on top of the waves feeling that powerful
body of water underneath you.A question I ask myself is, "Why do I even think I
need to understand God's ways?" Do we think our
ways are better? Sure we do at times. Do we need
to think about how we are going to get down that
river the most effective way on that tube?
Absolutely not. We just know in our hearts if we
stay on that tube(word of God) we will have a fun
and interesting ride down the river and eventually
get taken to where we want to go.When we finally get to the point where we fully
comprehend and ACCEPT the fact that God's ways are
not our ways, and our plans are not better than
God's, we tend to enjoy the river of life more and
look forward to the journey ahead without
uncertainty.There's a chance God is working in your life above
water or in the currents below right this very
second. Do you need to fully understand what he is
doing? Probably not! Grab that inner tube, get on
top along side God(study the word) hold on in
trust and let the river of his Holy Spirit give
you a ride of a lifetime this week.

It seems that no matter how much we love someone, and how deeply we are committed, keeping the sizzle alive in a relationship takes a little work. Here are ten ways you can help ignite the flame that was there when you first got together.
Don't take your relationship for granted. Everyone is guilty of this. Time passes, we assume our partner will always be with us. We have gotten used to the things they do for us that in the beginning seemed special. Every so often it is a good idea to remind yourself of the good things this person has
brought into your life. Appreciation for your partner strengthens the bond between you and a strong bond naturally leads to intimacy.
Spend time together doing something you both enjoy. This is always a good idea as it builds stronger bonds which promote intimacy. This may seem obvious but sometimes we get so busy, we forget to do the basic things that make a relationship strong. Along with this one comes communication. Communicating your feelings and desires to your partner is very important.
Set the mood. Dim the lights, light candles, have soft, seductive music playing in the background. Share a romantic dinner. Light a fire and curl up together. Flirt. Do different things to make the atmosphere conducive to romance.
Lingerie. New lingerie for him or her can add a little spice. Once a week, make the effort to look your best and put on something seductive. Your partner will appreciate the effort.
Full body massages. One week he gets a full body massage, the next week she does. You will look forward to that night.
Fantasies. Fantasizing is normal. If there is a fantasy that you have that involves your partner, tell him/her. Women generally have a harder time doing this then men do, but ladies, most men are excited by the idea that you fantasize about them.
Play games. You can turn any game into one that will lead to intimacy. Make a wager at the start of the game and each of you state what you want if you win. Nothing is out of bounds as long as the two of you agree.

We are currently living in a capitalist society where money and power rule. Therefore, many of us have become workaholics and often overlook signs of tiredness in order to stay on track. I am not saying that people should stop working hard to achieve their goals. However, there is a slight problem we do not know how to manage our stress, which is definitely not a good thing! Stress has been linked to mental/emotional (depression, anxiety, and anger) and physical illnesses (weakens the immune system). Therefore, it is more than important that you constantly work on reducing your stress level in order to maintain your overall health. The bottom line is, if we are not healthy there is no money or power that will make things better. So, take care of yourself. Below, I have added six stress releasing tips.Exercise: even if you go for a walk for 15-25 minutes four days a week it will help your body to get rid of adrenaline and produce endorphins (a natural tranquilizer). Not to mention you will not only feel better, you will also look the part.Yoga: Many ramble that practicing yoga is the best way to manage or release stress. It focuses on breathing techniques, exercises, connecting with the universe on a spiritual and mental level. If this option seems interesting to you I suggest you do some research in order to learn the principles and decide if it is for you.Stretch: People often stretch before and after a workout. However, learning stretching and flexing exercises to use as a way to relieve tension on many different areas of the body can help a great deal.Massage: We all know how massages can help us relax and release tension. Prices start around $40 for 30 minutes; it all depends on what extra relaxation techniques you would like to add to the massage such as aromatherapy, oils, etc. There are also different types of massages so this will also affect the price. I actually found a therapist that charges $33 for a 30 minute session. It sounds pretty good to me. We waste money in so many different ways so investing on a massage once in a while will not kill our pockets.Laugh it off: Rent a funny movie and laugh out loud. Go out with friends or host gatherings. Tell everyone to bring a platter. Remember the key is to release tension not, add to it. Use paper plates and plastic cups to reduce the amount of work.Take a break- Take time to relax, sleep, and maybe even take a vacation if you can.
